Meet Justin – A 2 year CrossFit Good Life Veteran!

“Two years ago today I did my first workout with CrossFit Good Life. It was a cold Saturday morning in an empty warehouse and I got my butt kicked. I think there were only a few of us there, Kaitlyn Crittenden, Kristopher Green, Jon P Strickland, Shana Dixon, Chelsea Reczek, Alex, Shelly and myself. After the warmup I had just about had it and seriously considered lying and saying I had to leave when Kris announced the workout. However, I am glad I stuck it out. The WOD was a partner WOD with lunges, burpees and sprints while your partner swung a kettle bell. I was swinging a 35lbs and couldn’t even come close to keeping up with Jon, who was swinging a 53lbs. However, despite my pathetic performance everyone was incredibly supportive and I immediately got a taste of the culture and environment that Kaitlyn and Kris have continued to develop. Two years later, I have not yet reached all my goals and unfortunately my schedule doesn’t permit me to attend like I want, I have seen improvements and made changes I never imagined, but most importantly, I am so grateful to have found an amazing program and made great friends.” – Justin Badger...
