” I grew up here in Peachtree City. I attended McIntosh High School and went on to study Communications at The University of Alabama. I then married my husband Ryan and opened my own business at the age of 23. I have always been active and had an interest in the health and beauty industry. I began CrossFit after having my second little girl and desired a healthy way of life, not just a quick fix of losing baby weight, but a true change that would provide balance for me physically, emotionally, and mentally. Shortly after joining Good Life I knew that I was committed. I have never looked back and never will. I began to see an opportunity to combine my desire to help others and to further my growth at CrossFit. My goal is to use this opportunity to give others confidence in their abilities and to strive for more every day.”

Education/Experience:

“I have always had an interest in health and fitness since I was a young girl.  Growing up in Athens, Georgia I played high school sports and was active through college playing intramural sports  and running.  I attended Georgia College and State University for my prerequisite studies then graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene.  Prior to CrossFit I was an avid runner and participated in many road races each year.  In addition to running I spent many hours in a traditional gym taking a variety of classes and even having a personal trainer.  I tried CrossFit for the first time at Good Life and felt as though I was experiencing a fitness awakening.  It didn’t take long for me to realize CrossFit was just what I was looking for.  It was the perfect blend and balance of cardiovascular and weight training.  My body began the transformation I had been seeking for many years. I was eager to share my love for CrossFit and became a coach.  As a coach helping people accomplish things they never thought imaginable is what keeps me motivated everyday.”

“I was born and raised in Peachtree City, Georgia. Spending a majority of my life involved in sports, I found Crossfit in 2015 and was instantly drawn to the family environment it offered compared to a traditional fitness setting.  I compete in the sport of Crossfit and have competed around the country at some of the well known competitions, including a third place division finish at Wodapolooza Fitness Festival in 2016. Apart from competing, my passion is to coach individuals through fitness to transform not only their physical health, but also their mental health as well. I am the COO of a mental health and addiction practice in Atlanta and recognize the important role physical fitness plays in keeping people healthy in all aspects of their life.”

Education/Experience:

I am a married, mother of three and I began my CrossFit journey in 2012, earning my Level 1 in July 2021. I graduated from Kennesaw State University, and currently work as an Employee Benefits Consultant. Growing up in Kennesaw, Georgia, my athletic background included Volleyball, Basketball, and Track and Field. At a young age, I was told I needed more exercise
to combat high blood pressure – CrossFit was the sport all my volleyball friends had found and loved it, so I tried it. CrossFit has been the driving force for my improved well-being. Not only my physical appearance, but my biometrics as well – have all improved since maintaining consistency with CrossFit and taking control of my nutrition.
I have over a decade of experience coaching travel volleyball for Atlanta-based clubs and I participate in local adult volleyball leagues. I have also competed in both team and individual CrossFit competitions. My goal as a coach is to share my love for this sport by providing a fun, safe and welcoming environment so all members can crush their WODs and meet their fitness goals. I love any workout with wall balls, bar muscle ups, and cleans, and I can make 20 minute brownies in 15 minutes.

I grew up in Fayette County and have always loved sports and stayed really active through most of my teenage and young adult life. After getting married and having kids, things slowed down to the occasional pick up games of flag football or ultimate frisbee with friends around holidays.  One Christmas when I was around 35, we were playing a pick game of football and I had a realization… I was slow, overweight, out of shape, and wasn’t getting any younger. I tried to get into some running, but was super unmotivated and had zero interest in going to a traditional gym. My wife had also just recently started this weird thing called CrossFit and wouldn’t shut up about it. After getting over my, “Is this a cult?!” concerns… I showed up for my first workout, and was hooked from the get go. In CrossFit, I found a perfect source of motivation due to the strong communal aspect of classes, and endless movements, workouts and techniques to improve upon and measure progress through. I’ve now been doing CrossFit for over 5 years, and just recently joined the coaching community to share my passion for how CrossFit has positively impacted my life and family. I’m now in the best shape of my entire life, and plan to continue to grow as an athlete and a coach in the years to come.
