What you’re missing at Good Life Bootcamp

What you’re missing at Good Life Bootcamp

Have you ever had a friend try to get you to listen to a certain singer or song? You know, it’s one that you’ve heard before, or really, ‘thought’ you heard before? And then you actually get to listen to the new song they’re talking about! BAM – all of a sudden it’s your FAVORITE SONG and it’s on repeat like someone is going to take it away from you [I mean really, who would do such a thing]. Well it turns out, your previous experiences working out might be the same way. See, we’ve got this program, Good Life Bootcamp, that is especially designed to help people not currently in our amazing Community to learn all the nuts & bolts about real, lifelong fitness. People come in skeptical, they’ve tried before, but the programs just didn’t deliver what they said they would – because they don’t have the Good Life Bootcamp Proven Success Formula! Because we’ve seen hundreds & hundreds of people just like you succeed every day for years now, we knew that to make a successful program, it was going to take more than ‘just’ our famous workouts! To really achieve your fitness goals, it also takes education on nutrition and lifestyle factors. The other 23 hours of the day that you’re not with us are just as important for your success! We get to cover these areas in a fun & encouraging atmosphere, where we keep everyone accountable through a positive support system. In every camp, people come together as strangers, and leave with life-long lasting friendships! Finally, we wrap up all of this with...

Meet Justin – A 2 year CrossFit Good Life Veteran!

“Two years ago today I did my first workout with CrossFit Good Life. It was a cold Saturday morning in an empty warehouse and I got my butt kicked. I think there were only a few of us there, Kaitlyn Crittenden, Kristopher Green, Jon P Strickland, Shana Dixon, Chelsea Reczek, Alex, Shelly and myself. After the warmup I had just about had it and seriously considered lying and saying I had to leave when Kris announced the workout. However, I am glad I stuck it out. The WOD was a partner WOD with lunges, burpees and sprints while your partner swung a kettle bell. I was swinging a 35lbs and couldn’t even come close to keeping up with Jon, who was swinging a 53lbs. However, despite my pathetic performance everyone was incredibly supportive and I immediately got a taste of the culture and environment that Kaitlyn and Kris have continued to develop. Two years later, I have not yet reached all my goals and unfortunately my schedule doesn’t permit me to attend like I want, I have seen improvements and made changes I never imagined, but most importantly, I am so grateful to have found an amazing program and made great friends.” – Justin Badger...

Meet Rob – A member of CrossFit Good Life for over a year!

“I have worked out in some form or another since high school.  Most of this has been in the form of running, weight lifting (single hinge movements) and cardio machines.  Over the course of this time my fitness level and weight fluctuated widely, dependent on amount of travel, diet at the time and amount of exercise. I became interested in CrossFit through my son.  He took a weight lifting elective in high school taught by Coach Ben Williams.  Ben incorporated functional fitness movements and Olympic lifting in the course.  This led Luke to sign up for a teen challenge competition in Canton, GA – based on his  performance in that event we decided to get him some formal coaching.  CrossFit GoodLife had just opened and was close to home so we reached out.  Sandi was a little concerned about the safety of CrossFit and asked if I’d go with Luke a couple of times to make sure it was safe.  After a couple of sessions I was absolutely hooked. What I like about CrossFit over other methods of “working out” 1) the results – when your kids brag about abdominal muscle definition in their 50 year-old dad that’s pretty cool 2) It is constantly varied – I never get bored and I’m constantly challenged.  3)  The community – a host of new friends drawn closer through communal suffering!  – Lastly and this change happens subtly, but likely most importantly, there has been a significant change in what I view as “healthy”.  Examples include cutting out processed foods or things that say “low fat” and limiting sugars and the types...
